2026-10-12 - Living Letters - Slowing Down with the Seasons
Happy, happy fall, my friends.
We’re now in my favorite season of the year. This is when I start to feel more cozy and look back at everything I’ve planted and grown. What stuck. What didn’t. And all the lessons I’m still taking in.
Lately, I’ve been noticing some of the guys I work with feeling less energy or motivation. Sometimes, there’s a judgment about it. I’m stuck. I’m shutting down. Why don’t I feel as inspired as I did before?
Something about the way we harvest our gardens in the fall has been helping me understand this a little differently. Especially what we do with everything we’ve gathered.
In this Living Letter, I share how that image has been supporting me as I begin to slow down and prepare for winter. Maybe there’s something here for you, too.
What are you harvesting from this year? Is there a lesson or an experience you want to take some time with before moving into what’s next?
I’d love to hear what comes up for you. You can leave a comment on the video.
And if you’d like to practice slowing down and connecting with other men, I’d love to have you join us for THE PRACTICE.
Sending you all so much love,
Mike
